Yes, all my paints are waterproof or coated with varnish, but I recommend my customers to wash the glass by hand or, even better, wipe it with a damp cloth.
The big glass pictures are equipped with wooden frames (3 cm = 1.18" deep) and metal hangers and can be hung horizontally or vertically. The glass is real glass, and the thickness is a whopping 0.118" (3 mm). The available frame colors are black or warm brown (wenge). The sizes of the respective glass paintings can be found on the product pages under the “Data Sheet” tab.
The weight of a glass picture is approx. 2,87 lb to 4.40 lb (1.3 to 2 kg), depending on the size. I can also offer other colors and sizes upon request (custom order). The brand of my glass pictures (picture frames) is a German-quality brand.
My paints are brands of well-established German and French manufacturers. They are specifically intended for glass painting.
Do not use aggressive cleaning agents or abrasive sponges. Do not soak in water.
A tip for a particularly long service life: wipe with a damp cloth or wash at 30°C by hand and soap.
The lanterns are made of food-safe borosilicate glass and, with a wall thickness of 3 mm, are robust (more impact-resistant than normal glass) and temperature-resistant. Weight of a lantern without a candle: approx. 9.17 ounces (260 g).
Since borosilicate glass does not contain any chemicals or substances harmful to health, you cannot find a better glass for storing food. All my jars come with airtight and waterproof 0.78" (2 cm) high bamboo lids, so you have a wide range of uses for your hand-painted art pieces:
- as a unique large lantern (3.90" x 5.90"/10 cm x 15 cm),
- stable, elegant flower vase with 33,81 fl. oz. (1 liter) capacity
- or storage jar for food, liquids, decorative stones, floristry, Christmas decorations, and much more.
And of course, you get your modern candle holder, including an LED candle made of real wax! More about this is in the line “Scope of Delivery” (data sheet of the respective product).
These are rechargeable LED candles and they look very realistic. They are made of high quality wax, and you don't need to worry about smoke, fire hazard or melting wax. The candles are pleasant to the touch, and their light makes the space cozy.
I would say, these candles are the best quality I have ever seen on the market of LED candles till now, and I'm happy to have them in my shop. They are perfectly suitable for my small business philosophy, which is being "brilliant" in painting, quality and service.
There are three more things included in every lantern-candle set: a USB charging cable, a remote control unit and a user manual. I find it really handy to charge the candle with a cable instead of changing batteries. Once fully charged, the battery's performance lasts up to 20 hours. My test showed even longer service.
The other great thing is the opportunity to control the candlelight at distance: switch it on or off (also possible with timer setting), change the color, color mods or brightness of the light with the remote control. The advantage is that glass paints don't contain lead; this is much healthier for you and me. Another positive side is that I am much more flexible with mixing colors and, thus, with your personalized orders. Practically, all the colors, effects and element sizes are possible.
My personal opinion is that yes, they are! The peculiarity is their gloss surface, which adds luxury to the artworks.
Furthermore, you are always desirous of touching the relief, which is a combination of thicker outliners and paints between them.
The next feature of my glass paintings is the possibility to hang them on a window without any background. The colors get lighter, shine in the sun and look magic!
All of my glass paintings (pictures) are truly unique and one-of-a-kind. This means they are not just hand-painted, but painted only once. The motifs used will no longer be reproduced. The owners of these pictures will forever remain owners of hand-painted, one-of-a-kind pieces that do not exist anywhere else in the world. This is what makes the glass pictures holders so unique. In the era of high production numbers and quickly made copies, true uniqueness has become an extremely rare commodity. However, many people still value hand-made home accessories and luxury goods.

It depends on the complexity of the work (details, special colors to mix, size of the final product) and my workload (usually 3 to 14 days per product). Please consider the delivery time in addition.
